As reported by Blick earlier today, halfway through the game between SC Bern and EV Zug, Christian Thomas was checked into the knee by Sven Senteler. The club now has confirmed that Thomas will not be able to suit up tonight against HC Davos due to the hit. Colin Gerber also suffered an injury and will thus be sidelined.
Behind the bench, the Bears are also shorthanded - head coach Johan Lundskog tested positive for Covid. In his stead, goalie coach Jeff Hill, will join the two assistant coaches.
On an actually positive note, Captain Simon Moser and Kaspars Daugavins are back in the lineup for SC Bern's last game before the Olympic break.
