According to Le Matin, Andreï Bykov is still weeks away from a return to the lineup. As Christian Dubé elaborates, he is not even able to skate as of now.

Bykov's prolonged absence also led Dubé to sign Ryan Vesce as replacement for Mattias Ritola: "When I replaced Bykov, I knew I had no other choice. A center was needed due to the absence of Andreï Bykov."

Bykov suffered a severe concussion due to a heavy hit by EHC Biel's Marco Maurer, who received a two-game suspension for this play. In 33 games for HCFG this season, the 28-year-old forward has scored nine goals and 20 assists.
