According to Die Südostschweiz, the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers will likely have to make do without Cyrill Geyer (photo) for Game 1 of the playoff final series against SC Langenthal.

The 35-year-old defenseman had to consult a doctor yesterday and will - in all likeliness - not be ready to hit the ice. However, Jeff Tomlinson has the option to let Leandro Profico return to his original position, as Ryan McGregor and Nicola Brandi both passed their fitness tests yesterday and thus could return to the lineup.
