Several EV Zug players did not participate in today's first on-ice practice session

Finnish defender Santeri Alatalo, who is in possession of a Swiss players' license, is expected to be out until the end of the year after tearing a chest muscle during off-ice practice. And, forwards Dominic Lammer (photo) and Nolan Diem are suffering from undisclosed upper-body injuries.

"Both [Lammer and Diem] will be sidelined for up to ten days," EVZ's head coach Harold Kreis said. The team will play their first pre-season game against their Swiss League farmteam, the EVZ Academy, on Saturday this week.
