HC Thurgau's Adrian Brunner questionable for season opener

HC Thurgau's forward Adrian Brunner suffered an injury in the first preparation game and might miss the start of the Swiss League, Thurgauer Zeitung reports.

The 29-year-old forward tore a muscle fiber in the first game of season preparation against the Schwenninger Wild Wings on August 11. Brunner is expected to be sidelined for about four weeks. He is, therefore, questionable for the season opener on September 15 against the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers.
