According to Blick, the Champions Hockey League has rejected SC Bern's appeal regarding a minor penalty for re-entering the ice rink too late following the first period break.

As the newspaper writes, the Champions Hockey League feels justified in this decision because it was an organisational error and not a fault from the referees. It is not yet clear if SC Bern will accept the judgement.

The minor penalty was imposed after the first period break as Bern's players went back on the ice too late. The incident was a technical error. The duration of the break between the first and second period was not set to 18 minutes, but to 15 minutes.
