All in all, Swiss teams have collected a total of 226 points in the CHL ranking of the 2019-20 season. Only Sweden with the CHL's champion Frölunda has more with a total of 249 points. Both the first and second placed countries are going to have five starting places in the next season's Champions Hockey League.

The representatives of Switzerland will, of course, be this season's champion, as well as the regular season winner and the three following teams in the standings (not including the Swiss champion, which is already qualified).
