The Slovakian club has received a wild card from the organizers of the competition and will replace Belarus' Yunost Minsk.

Slovan Bratislava joins the competition after the wild card for the Belarusian champions Yunost Minsk was withdrawn due to the current situation in the country with "too many unpredictabilities for all involved stakeholders," especially when it comes to travel restrictions and flight disruptions.

With the last member of Group F finally known, also their schedule is set: HC Fribourg-Gottéron will begin their European adventure on August 27 at home, facing HC Oceláři Třinec.
