The City of Zurich supports the IIHF Worlds 2020.

"We will have many of the world's best hockey players as guests in the sports city of Zurich," city councillor Filippo Leutenegger says. "They will offer the many ice hockey fans spectacular and atmospheric games in the Hallenstadion," he is sure.
In addition to the CHF 1.8 million, Zurich will not charge the organizers of the World Championship for police services and grants the IIHF Worlds free flagging, as it is customary at major international sporting events.
The IIHF World Championship will take place in Zurich and Lausanne between May 8 and 24, 2020.
