Switzerland's head coach Patrick Fischer will start into the second preparation week with three netminders, nine defensemen and 13 forwards.

While Jérôme Bachofner, Chris Baltisberger, Raphael Prassl (all ZSC Lions) and Samuel Guerra (HC Ambrì-Piotta) have been cut from Switzerland's roster, Enzo Corvi (HC Davos) sustained an undisclosed injury in the second preparation game against Russia on Saturday (5-1 loss) and will be out, too.

Kevin Fiala (Minnesota Wild), Nico Hischier (New Jersey Devils), Vincent Praplan (Springfield Thunderbirds/AHL), Yannick Rathgeb (Bridgeport Sound Tigers/AHL), Andres Ambühl (HC Davos), as well as EHC Biel's Jason Fuchs, Samuel Kreis, Janis Moser and Damien Riat have been summoned to the national team by Patrick Fischer.

In their second preparation week, Switzerland will face France twice on April 26 and 27 at the Grabenhalle in Sierre and the Patinoire Les Vernets in Geneva, respectively.
