On the other hand, Ramon Untersander renounced participating in the World Championship due to his balance problems. The defenseman was able to suit up in the playoffs, however he was relying on medication, therefore he will not take part in the competition.

The national team will face Latvia on Friday 3 and on Saturday 4 in the last friendly games before the start of the World Championship in Slovakia.
