Goalie Melvin Nyffeler, defenders Christian Marti, Dominik Egli and Mirco Müller as well as forward Sven Andrighetto have been called up.

With the semifinals of the National League playoffs over, players from the eliminated teams have been added to the Swiss national team's Worlds preparation roster. From the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, netminder Melvin Nyffeler and defender Dominik Egli have joined. From the ZSC Lions, defenseman Christian Marti and forward Sven Andrighetto will compete for a spot.

Mirco Müller, part of Leksands IF (SHL) until recently, has also been called up by head coach Patrick Fischer.

Two players not part of the preparation will be Denis Hollenstein (ZSC Lions) and Denis Malgin (Toronto Maple Leafs / Lausanne HC). The former is sidelined with a shoulder injury, the latter has not gotten clearance from the Leafs.
