It is the second roster cut after the second preparation week in Patrick Fischer's team. As the SIHF writes, the national team coach will announce further roster changes tomorrow, as he is likely to call up some players who were busy playing in the playoff final until yesterday.

As for the next preparation phase prior to the worlds in Riga, the Swiss team will travel to Latvia next Thursday. The team will then face Latvia's national team on Friday and Saturday in two preparation games.

Also expected to join the Swiss national team are NHL forwards Nico Hischier (New Jersey Devils) and Timo Meier (San Jose Sharks). They both received green light from their respective organization but are not yet officially called by the SIHF - which might change tomorrow.
