Switzerland to play in Helsinki

Newly crowned champion Canada remains in 1st place, followed by their opponent in the final, Finland. They moved up from 3rd to 2nd place. Switzerland, which was ousted in the quarterfinals, remains in 8th place.
The Swiss will be part of Group A in the 2022 IIHF World Championship which will take place in Helsinki and Tampere. Group A, consisting of Canada, Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Slovakia, Denmark, Kazakhstan, and Italy will play in Helsinki.
