As of today, head coach Patrick Fischer will be able to count on Nico Hischier (New Jersey Devils), Denis Malgin (ZSC Lions), Christian Marti (ZSC Lions), Timo Meier (San Jose Sharks), Jonas Siegenthaler (New Jersey Devils), and Pius Suter (Detroit Red Wings).
Dario Simion, Fabrice Herzog, and Leonardo Genoni (all EV Zug) will join the national team on Sunday. It is not yet clear, whether Philipp Kurashev will be able to suit up for the team, as he has tested positive for Covid-19.
As for Sven Andrighetto (ZSC Lions, hip injury), Denis Hollenstein (ZSC Lions, knee injury), and Yannick Weber (ZSC Lions, foot injury), they will not join the team for this year's World Championship due to injuries.
Grégory Hofmann (EV Zug) will not be part of the team either, albeit for a different reason: "Grégory would have liked to take part in the World Championship. However, we mutually agreed that he needs a break [after this season]."
