The 25-year-old thus returns to his youth team. If everything goes according to plan and all the paperwork will be done in time, Thöny is going to make his comeback with HC Prättigau-Herrschaft as soon as in tomorrow's qualification game for the Swiss Ice Hockey Cup against Oberthurgau.
In the past two seasons, Thöny suited up for EHC Winterthur in the National League B, scoring 39 goals and adding 18 assists in 93 games for them. This term, he has been part of the GCK Lions, for which he scored three goals in 18 games.
