Reto Kobach has been EHC Winterthur's assistant coach ever since he sustained an injury in December 2019. While he had planned to end his career at the end of the 2019-20 season anyway, the injury then gave him the opportunity to get an early start to his new career as a coach.
Luigi "Luli" Riva, for his part, has received a chance to build a new sports center in the Valle Verzasca and has thus decided to leave EHC St. Moritz after this season.
