The Covid-19 Task Force of the Regio League, as well as the NAC (Nachwuchs- und Amateursport Committee), came to the decision to resume the championship after consulting with the clubs.
Moreover, as a lot of players now either were infected with Covid-19 or got vaccinated during the break, it is more likely that they can play their games. The shortened quarantine period was also one of the factors that make the Task Force vote in favor of resuming the championships.
The Women's League, the MySports League, and the First League also have decided to play their playoffs as scheduled. If one team cannot play a game due to Covid-19 in the playoffs, the team automatically loses said game with 0-1.
