Swedish forward Philip Rondahl, who played the last season with the Swiss League's EVZ Academy, has signed with Västerviks IK in the Allsvenskan.

The 21-year-old has signed a one-year contract with the club from Sweden's second-highest league. He thus returns to his native country after playing two years abroad with Stjernen Hockey in Norway and the EVZ Academy in Switzerland. Rondahl was the Academy's assistant captain in the past season.

For EV Zug's Swiss League-affiliate, the young Swedish forward suited up in a total of 40 games last season. He was able to score 20 goals and recorded 16 assists for a total of 36 points.
