Since David Ullström left HV71 in 2018 a lot has happened. Ullström suited up for teams in the AHL, the KHL and in Switzerland and, this season, his youth club HV71 got relegated from the SHL. As Aftonbladet reports, the 32-year-old forward wants to help HV71 to get back to the top league.

Jonas Hult, team manager of HV71, however, did not want to confirm the report: "Of course these are guys [Ullström and forward Simon Önerud] we would like to see with HV71," he says and adds: "If it were clear, we would have communicated it."
