Erik Thorell is off to Czechia, will play for HC Sparta Praha

Erik Thorell told Hockeysverige.se in an interview that he would not return to EV Zug for the 2021-22 season. He also revealed that while he was in talks with some Swedish teams, he was leaning towards staying outside of his native country.

He will now embark on a new adventure, as he will play in Czechia for the first time in his career. Last season, Erik Thorell recorded eight goals and 16 assists in 42 regular-season games for EV Zug,
