After two rounds, the Lions are three points ahead of HC Lugano and five ahead of Bomo Thun, which has also increased their lead over Reinach to eight points. All three favorited teams were victorious in their games against the lower placed teams (SC Reinach, Neuchâtel Hockey Academy, and SC Weinfelden).

The Lions beat Neuchâtel and Reinach with 5-2, both games were only decided in the last period, though. Furthermore, they also honored their goaltender Caro Baldin for 50 games, Isabel Waidacher for 100 games, and Nina Waidacher for 150 games played for the ZSC.

Bomo Thun, on the other hand, led the game against Neuchâtel with 5-0 but then let the game out of their hands. The game was decided in the last three minutes. Against SC Weinfelden, on the other hand, they were down 2-0 but eventually managed to win the game with 3-4. They scored the decisive goal 78 seconds before the end of the game

As for the last playoff spot, the situation has not changed since the end of the Qualification. SC Reinach is two points ahead of the Neuchâtel Hockey Academy, SC Weinfelden has still not won a single game. The game between Neuchâtel and Reinach next weekend could thus potentially make clear who will get the final playoff spot.

SWHL A, Masterround: HC Lugano – SC Weinfelden 8:2 (2:0, 3:0, 3:1). ZSC Lions – SC Reinach 5:2 (2:2, 2:0, 1:0). EV Bomo Thun – Neuchâtel Hockey Academy 7:4 (2:0, 3:0, 2:4). SC Reinach – HC Lugano 1:5 (1:4, 0:0, 0:1). Neuchâtel Hockey Academy – ZSC Lions 2:5 (1:2, 0:1, 1:2). SC Weinfelden – EV Bomo Thun 3:4 (2:0, 0:2, 1:2).
