Swiss Women's Hockey League

The ZSC Lions won the game against HC Lugano this past weekend and increased their lead over them. Lugano is still in second place after their victory over EV Bomo Thun, but Thun is now only two points behind them.

The Lions beat SC Weinfelden and HC Lugano in the Masterround this weekend, both games without receiving a single goal against. While Lugano won against Thun with 4-3, they did not score a single goal in the game against the Lions. In the fight for the remaining playoff spots, Thun was able to distance SC Reinach with a 4-2 win over them. As for the Neuchâtel Hockey Academy, thanks to their 5-0 win over SC Weinfelden, Reinach now is two points ahead of them.

For the 20th time in 94 games (without Playouts) of SC Weinfelden, Weinfelden had to deal with a double-digit defeat, as they lost with 0-19 against the ZSC Lions. At least, they hold one record: In the last ten years, no other team has not even won ten percent of their regular season games (85 losses) and lost more than a fifth of their games by more than ten goals.
