Swiss Women's Hockey League

HC Thurgau's game against EHC Olten went into overtime last Sunday. This had harsh consequences for the women's team of SC Weinfelden, as they were scheduled to have a game right after the men's game.

The playout game between Neuchâtel Hockey Academy and Weinfelden did not start at the agreed upon time. It could also not get underway 30 minutes later - the time amount allowed according to the regulations.

Neuchâtel then decided to request that the league judge the game as a loss by forfeit. The league has granted this request, leading to a 5-0 loss of Weinfelden. The Neuchâtel Hockey Academy now leads the series 2 to 0.
