The playout game between Neuchâtel Hockey Academy and Weinfelden did not start at the agreed upon time. It could also not get underway 30 minutes later - the time amount allowed according to the regulations.

Neuchâtel then decided to request that the league judge the game as a loss by forfeit. The league has granted this request, leading to a 5-0 loss of Weinfelden. The Neuchâtel Hockey Academy now leads the series 2 to 0.
