Steele joins the SWHLA-team from the multi-national Elite Women's Hockey League's champion EHV Sabres Wien. The 22-year-old played for Boston University for four years before she joined Wien in 2017. In the 2012-2013 season, she won the IIHF World Women’s U18 Championship with Canada.

Forward Broad joined the Hockey Academy last season. "We would like to extend the contract with Kendra because she is well integrated into the team, she works hard and is a good example for our young players", head coach Yan Gigon says.

After one term with Neuchâtel, forward Brittany Clampham is going to return to Canada. The 25-year-old suited up eleven times for the Hockey Academy.

Defender Mylène Gonçalves sustained a bad injury at the beginning of the season with the French national team but is on the way back. She will be playing for the team again once she is ready.

Neuchâtel Hockey Academy is still in talks with different players to finalize their roster for the next season.
