Swiss Women's Hockey League

The two Bernese teams EV Bomo Thun (SWHL A) and the Brandis Ladies (SWHL B) have decided to work together.

According to a press release by Brandis, the two clubs have agreed to cooperate. As Brandis' President, Anita Rohrer states, "this should lead to a lasting contribution to the development of women's ice hockey in the Emmental - Berner Oberland region. The players are given the opportunity to play at their respective level and to develop themselves further."

Two months ago, another Bernese SWHL B team, SC Langenthal, agreed to a partnership with an SWHL A  team: SC Reinach. As of today, EB Bomo Thun has yet to announce their new head coach as well as additions to the team. Steve Huard is now the head coach of HC Lugano and the four import players which left (Lara Escudero has also signed with Lugano) Bomo have also not been replaced yet.
