The 66-year-old is currently directing the summer training of the team and taking care of the transfers.

"If another coach doesn't come along, I'll be back on the bench in winter too," says Jakob "Köbi" Kölliker to the Berner Zeitung. "I want to promote women's hockey and play a major role in the league with Bomo" he adds, although acknowledging the fact that the club needs to improve their structures, a task that cannot be done overnight.

"I see myself as a freelancer. At the moment I'm actively involved and like to help. I'm doing the planning and working on transfers, so I'm actually also doing the tasks of a sports director" states the former player. According to the newspaper, he should soon have an assistant in Thun.
