Janine Alder has decided to put an end to her hockey career and focus on her job, the Thurgauer Zeitung reports. The 25-year-old goaltender returned to Switzerland this season after four years of playing NCAA hockey in the States. Alder was part of the national team that won the bronze medal at the 2014 Olympic Games.

Monja Wagner will take her place in the net next season. However, they have yet to find a second goaltender for the 2021-22 season, as the team announces on its website. Roxanne Kis, who was Alder's backup this season, is set to join Wil.

According to the same source, the Indien Ladies will be reinforced by Lena Lutz, who played for EV Bomo Thun this season. Andrea Odermatt is also rumored to join the Thurgau-based team. The 23-year-old forward played for the HC Ladies Lugano this season, winning her third Women's League title. However, the HC Ladies Lugano denied this rumor stating that Odermatt still has a valid contract with them.
