In her first season with the ZSC Lions Frauen, Skylar Fontaine won the league title, the cup and the award for best defender. The US-American was also the one to score the championship-clinching goal. As the 24-year-old has now announced in a video on her team's social media channels, she will be continuing her career with them coming season.
Prior to joining the Lions, Fontaine was a longtime teammate of former ZSC-forward Alina Müller at Northeastern University in Boston.
