Vanessa Schaefer, whose father is Swiss, played junior hockey in Canada. The 18-year-old will play her first professional games for the ZSC Lions Frauen. Sigrist, Lahova and Mächler, for their part, join the Lions from HC Thurgau.
While they thus add four players to their roster, the Lions also announced some departures: Jessica Schlegel and Janine Hauser have decided to leave the organization and become part of HC Davos’ women’s team.
