WOMEN'S LEAGUE

As the Neuchâtel Hockey Academy announces, they have hired Nicolas Motreff, who will serve as an assistant coach for the upcoming season.

The 28-year-old Frenchman played professional hockey in France until the end of this past season but also worked as coach of various junior and men's teams, lastly as head coach of the U15 team of the Corsaires de Nantes as well as assistant coach for the U20 team of the same team.

It will be Motreff's first coaching job with a women's team. The former forward will support head coach Yan Gigon, who will also serve as head coach of the women's U16 team in the upcoming season and thus be absent a couple of times.
