Lambert played for IF Sundsvall Hockey/Timrå IK last season in the SDHL. The 22-year-old goalie appeared in eleven games for the Swedish team and posted a .876 save percentage. Ihnaťová, for her part, suited up for SKP Bratislava (EWHL) last year, scoring seven goals and eight assists in 14 games.

Both will not only play for Weinfelden's SWHL A team but will also serve as coaches - together with head coach Nikolett Farkas - for the Piccolo team. Furthermore, they will also work as referees for the home tournaments of the Bambini team.
