The 26-year-old was named the best forward of the year.

Lara Stalder

"It’s a big honor especially looking at the great forwards the SDHL has. I had a difficult season the year before and therefore I’m super happy I was able to play a full year with a lot of fun and passion for the game," Lara Stalder said in her acceptance speech. "But most of all a big thank you to my teammates that made it possible to win this award."

Stalder had an excellent season with Brynäs IF, recording 42 goals and 29 assists in 36 regular-season games. Earlier this year, she also received the Guldhjälmen (gold helmet) which is presented to the most valuable player of the league.
