Women's Hockey

The Swiss players have a chance to take home a trophy this season.

Alina Müller

Andrea Brändli is among the eight finalists for the first ever Hockey Commissioners Association's Women's Hockey Goalie of the Year Award. The goalie, who suits up for Ohio State, is the Western Collegiate Hockey Association's active career leader in wins (45), save percentage (.932), goals against average (1.89), and the co-leader in shutouts (12).

Fellow Swiss player Alina Müller is also once again up for some awards. Like last season, the forward is one of ten nominees for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award. Müller was also awarded -for the second year in a row - the Scoring Champion title by Hockey East.

Müller is the second-fastest player to reach 100 points in the Hockey East era (2002-present). She currently leads Hockey East in points per game (1.63), power-play goals (11), short-handed points (2), and plus/minus (+28)
