Alina Müller was drafted by the Boston team third overall and will thus return to North America to play hockey come January when the league will open its doors.
Müller was very emotional when asked by TSN about how she feels now she can work as a professional hockey player: "Yes, unbelievable. It's been emotional. Super happy and can't believe I can play again in the best city in the world. They are doing so much for women's sports. I am so proud to represent Switzerland there as well."
The Swiss forward had already signed with the Pride in May. However, as the Premier Hockey Federation ceased operations, all contracts were voided.
