Anna Wiegand has already served as a referee at the Women's World Championship in 2019 when the tournament was hosted by Finland. This time around, she will get the opportunity to show her referee skills in Calgary.
The tournament, which had been postponed due to Covid-19, will start on August 20 and last until August 31. The preliminary round of the tournament will not be open to the public due to concerns regarding Covid-19.
