The Swiss lost the bronze medal game against Czechia 2-4.

The Czechs got on the board first, scoring in the 8th minute of play. While Alina Marti managed to tie it up for the Swiss four minutes later, the Czechs won the first period as they scored yet another goal.

The Czechs also did not give their lead out of their hands in the second period, they managed to increase their lead to 4-1. While the Swiss recorded another goal ten minutes before the end of the game (Nicole Vallario), they were not able to close the gap in the end and thus end the tournament in fourth place.
