The Swiss squad secured their spot in the semifinals with a 5-1 win over Japan.

The first period of the game ended up tied as Japan's Haruka Toko and Switzerland's Lara Christen put their teams on the board. In the second period, Switzerland's first line, consisting of Lara Stalder, Alina Müller, and Rahel Enzler, took over.

They combined for three goals, securing a 4-1 lead for Switzerland. In the 49th minute, Rahel Enzler scored her second goal of the night (and her third point), making it 5-1 and leading Switzerland to victory.

The Swiss will now face Canada in the semifinals. The game is scheduled for April 15, 22 CET.
