The 22-year-old forward was under contract with HC Ambrì-Piotta last season but only played in the Swiss League. In 35 games for the HCB Ticino Rockets and in eight for HC Ajoie, he recorded five goals and eight assists. The Czech had been part of HCAP's organization since the 2010-11 season.
