During the third period of last night's Game 3 between HC Fribourg-Gottéron and Genève-Servette HC, the home team's Samuel Walser slashed opponent Eric Fehr. The league has decided to open proceedings against the forward and provisionally suspend him for one game.
Walser has recorded two assists in three playoff games so far while being on the ice for a bit over 15 minutes on average. He will miss Game 4 on Monday due to the suspension.
