Evan Tschumi has been provisionally suspended and proceedings have been initiated against him. He is under investigation for slashing the ZSC Lions' Marc Aeschlimann in the 60th minute of play of Friday's game.
Tschumi is currently in his first season with HC Lugano. He has appeared in seven games for the National League team but has yet to put his name on the scoresheet.
