The incident during the warmups for Game 2 of the Swiss League final bears further consequences for the two players.

Initially provisionally suspended for Sunday's Game 3, both HC La Chaux-de-Fonds Colin Fontana and EHC Olten's Cédric Hüsler will have to sit out some more games.

Hüsler has been issued an eight-game suspension as well as a fine of CHF 2,100.- for several cases of slashing plus one fight. Fontana has been suspended for three games and is to pay CHF 1,150.-, in his case due to a crosscheck. Both players have served one of their suspensions as a provisional one for Game 3 already.

According to the Oltner Tagblatt, Olten is appealing the length of the verdict against Hüsler.

The next chapter of the Swiss League final is taking place tonight, with La Chaux-de-Fonds one win away from winning the title.
