RUMOR - As HC Fribourg-Gottéron seems to have confirmed to RTS sports journalist Marc-André Berset, Canadian forward Jeff Tambellini is likely to get loaned to HC Bolzano in the Austrian EBEL after tonight's game in Zug.

Tambellini, whose contract with the Dragons is valid until 2016, moved to Fribourg from SHL's MODO during last summer.

After scoring only five goals and seven assists in 26 games, the 30-year-old is falling short of expectations this season so far.

UPDATE According to what Le Matin journalist Cyrill Pasche reports, Jeff Tambellini seems not to be on the brink of departure or just ahead of being loaned to somewhere: "I have signed a two-year contract and there is a no-movement clause. I want to continue," Tambellini said after tonight's loss to EV Zug game. - 23 December 2014, 11:17 PM
