The 27-year-old forward last played for the Tampa Bay Lightning's AHL affiliate Syracuse Crunch and was a teammate of Tanner Richard and Joël Vermin. He spent most of his career in the AHL but has at least some NHL experience, playing 46 games (nine points) for the Carolina Hurricanes from 2009 to 2012. This season, he scored 8 points (one goal, seven assists) in 28 games for the Crunch. He is he Seelanders fifth import-player.
