As the Neue Zürcher Zeitung writes, former Kloten forward Victor Stancescu, ZSC's Mathias Seger and Ambrì's Paolo Duca are pursuing the idea of a players' union in Switzerland.

According to the newspaper, the plans for such a union are getting more concrete. Internally, a paper has been drawn up that will be sent out to the teams to find out what issues the players have and which structures would be best suited.

The initiators are law graduate and former Flyers' forward Victor Stancescu, who had to hang up his skates due to injury earlier this season, together with ZSC Lions' captain Mathias Seger and Paolo Duca, captain of HCAP. (lcu)
