Currently on 7th rank in the National League B championship, SC Langenthal is without a doubt underperforming so far. Head coach Olivier Horak has now taken matters into his own hands and steps down: "Of course I'm disappointed that we've come so far," the 49-year-old says. "But my resignation now opens up new possibilities for the team."

As Stephan Anliker, Chairman of the Board of Directors, says, the goal remains the same: "Now it's the team's responsibility - there are no more excuses. We want to qualify for the semi-finals." While assistant coach Jason O'Leary will coach the team until further notice, Olivier Horak will now lead SC Langenthal's youth organization.
