HC Ajoie has extended the contracts with defensemen Kevin Ryser and Bastien Pouilly until 2017 and 2018, respectively. Moreover, the club has signed SC Langenthal's forward Anton Ranov to a one-year contract.

As for Kevin Ryser (photo), the Ajoulots made use of their option to extend the contract for another year. The 27-year-old appeared in 41 games this season so far, scoring ten points.

Their 19-year-old homegrown player Bastien Pouilly, who made his NLB debut last season, has completed ten games with the Elite B youth team (14 points), as well as 28 NLB-games (7 points) since September last year.

Anton Ranov, on the other hand, will leave SC Langenthal after two seasons and find his new home in Ajoie as of 2016-17. The 21-year-old, who is currently sidelined with a concussion, scored three points (two goals, one assist) in 36 games this season so far.

Moreover, HC Ajoie announced the signing of two additional forwards for the playoffs which will start next week. Both EHC Winterthur's Anthony Staiger, as well as GCK Lions' Ramon Diem are going to reinforce the club for the remainder of the season. (rlu)
