Already in mid-February, the Fribourg-based newspaper La Liberté reported that netminder Reto Lory has signed a three-year deal with a team in the NLB. Now, HC Red Ice confirms the signing of the 27-year-old.

Reto Lory already suited up for HC Red Ice a couple of times this season due to the partnership agreement between HC Fribourg-Gottéron and the Valaisans. The partnership, however, will be broken off and Lory leaves Gottéron inspite of a running contract.

The 27-year-old goalie had already played for HC Red Ice between 2011 and 2015 before joining Gottéron in the National League A. (tme)
