As SC Langenthal announces, they have signed Lausanne HC's Philipp Rytz to a two-year contract. The defenseman will thus stay with Langenthal until the end of the 2017-18 season.

The 31-year-old defenseman has played 551 games in the NLA for EHC Biel, Genève-Servette HC, SC Bern, HC Fribourg-Gottéron, the SCL Tigers and Lausanne HC. This past season, he was only able to appear in 21 games (one assist) for Lausanne HC, as he was dealing with a knee injury. (mso)
