As EHC Winterthur announces, they have signed Adrian Wichser to a one-year contract. The former Hockey Thurgau forward will thus stay with them until the end of the 2016-17 season.

The 36-year-old forward would have had a valid contract with HCT until 2017, however, the contract was then dissolved due to the financial problems of the Lions. Wichser scored four goals and eight assists in 35 games for Thurgau last season. His new contract with Winterthur was made possible through some benefactors. (mso)
